Don't forget you are a female, Ginette.
I wrote "Right every hundrenth time" only because I'm a gentleman...
all other men would have written "Ginette is wrong".
You must thank me !

Réponse: re de chrisg, postée le 2004-05-15 18:54:24 (S | E)
It's clear that maureplain is a gentleman (even if he should not have said that himself), because just to say "there's no ugly woman in this world" (or something like that in another post), he MUST be a gentleman !!!!

Voici l'exercice:
HOW TO SUCCEED AT AN INTERVIEW
A PREPARING FOR THE INTERVIEW
1 find out about the company
2 find out 1 person or a group
3 make a short list
B ATTENDING THE INTERVIEW
4 dress smartly
5 ARRIVE IN GOOD TIME
6 created good first impression
7 try to stay positive and relaxed
8 don't give no or yes answer ,explain your experience
9 asked questions
Guideline attempt learn from interview

tu voulais plutot t'adresser a moi non ?
c'est pas grave
et bien alors toutes mes excuses car j'ai toujours vu/employé on time (à l'heure) et non pas in good time (qui signifiait pour moi en temps voulu)

Réponse: re to GIZMO de flo-flo, postée le 2004-05-15 20:22:03 (S | E)
SORRY sorry sorry ?
Bon bah maintenant que je sais que c'est toi,la response doit vraiment être ON GOOD TIME.
Est ce que l'expression IN GOOD TIME existe et si oui quelle est la différence?
Merci

on time (à l'heure)
in good time (en temps voulu)

What is the difference between in-time (in time) and on-time (on time) or which is correct one and how and when they are used.
For eg: Be on time or Be in time

Grammar's Response
If I insist that my students be prompt in submitting their assignments, I will tell them to get their work in on time. "I want the papers by three o'clock, and they must be handed in on time." Or one could advise a friend to get to work on time (at the established hour for the start of business) and hope that that the bus arrives on time (again, at the scheduled hour). If there is an established deadline of some kind, then, a student could say that he submitted the work in time (prior, perhaps just prior, to the established deadline). In saving someone's life, the hero might have to arrive just in time to foil the assassin's plot.
