Four brothers have the same birthday,but are of different ages.Their neighbours remembers that Ken is over 20 while Bryan is under 20. Ben is a year younger than Steph .& bryan's age is between ben's & ken's.
Now the neighbour learns that ken is 21 & that there is three years between steph & ken.HOW OLD IS EACH BROTHER???

A father has two sons & he wanted to be sure,when he died,to leave all his money to the more intelligent of the two.
"look" he said,"here are three ribbons two white & one black.i' m going to pin one ribbon on each of your backs,& you won't know what colour it is.there you are.Each of you can see the other one's ribbon,but you can't see your own.Now,go into the other room.The first one who comes & tells me what coulour ribbon he's wearing will be my heir & inherit all i possess." The two boys went out
After a minute or two,the younger son came back & correctly told his father that he was wearing a white ribbon."good boy" said his father." how did you work it out?"
WHAT WAS THE BOY'S ANSWER?????

this one is easier
there are five shops next to one another in this order : hairdresser,shoeshop,chemist,grocer,bookshop.the five owners are:
Mrs Cutter,who isn't the hairdresser,
Mr Boot,who isn't the shoeshop owner,
Mr Tablet, who isn't the chemist,
Mr Salter,who isn't the grocer,and
Miss Read,who doesn't own the bookshop
We also know that :
Miss Read's shop is at one end of the line
Mr Tablet's shop is next to the grocer's
Mr Tablet is very friendly with the shoeshop owner,who (he hopes) will sell him her shop
Who owns each shop?
