Hi everyone!!here is another easy exercise :
join the following sentences.ue the words/phrases between brackets
1.They left the country -ten years ago-. (soon)
2.John will go to new york -next week-. (just)
3.That manager was here -two years ago-.(for two months)
4.the students will probably go to the museum -soon-. (right now)
5.sam has a bad cough -today-. (since the begining of october)

Excuse me I don't understand the aim of this exercise... Do you want us to replace the phrase in parenthesis (which is "soon" in the first sentence) with the one between the dash ("ten years ago)?

it is always with pleasure to do exercises. What about the following answers ?

1. They leave the country soon.
2. John just went to New York
3. That manager has been her for two months
4. The students go to the museum right now.
5. Sam had a bad cough since the beginning of October.
