Je viens tous juste de commencer a apprendre l'anglais, je suis en ce moment entrain de voir le passif, et j'aimerais que quelq'un puisse me relever toutes les phrases à la voix passive du texte ci-dessous s'il vous plait et qu'il m'explique comment a t-il fait pour les trouver:

Growing up, I have heard many stories about racism, sexism and other "isms". As a girl, I was always warned about sexism, sexual harassment and discrimination. No one ever warned me that being a tomboy could affect me in the same way.

As a little girl, I was more pleased playing hockey or football with my brother and sister than I was playing with a Barbie doll. I loved playing house and jumping rope while saying those little rhymes, but when given a choice between tea parties and sports, sports alwas won.

As we grew older, many tamboys were lost to make-up and beauty magazines. Fewer girls played sports; they started spending their afternoons on the telephone. I enjoyed these things, too, and happily did both worlds; the tamboy in me had guys to hang out with and talk about sports while the girl in me had friends to talk about crushes with.

On day a boy who lived down the street pushed by me in the hall and said, "Get out of my way, Mini-man". At first I was shocked. I even laughed, it was such a silly name, but that was where it started. From that day on, Joe referred to me only as Mini-man. I didn't really care, I figured he was just mad because I beat him in a race in gym class, but soon Joe's friends started using the name, too.

Just a month into eight grade, every guy in my clas, except my friends, was calling me Mini-man. I continued to ignore it, but gradually it bothered me more and more. I was lucky to have great friends who stood up for me -I don't know if I would have survived without them- but I often wondered why the boys were so insecure and why a girl who was good at sports was such a threat to "manhood" that she had to be teased.

It never got much worse than that. There was the time our mailbox was smashed in by a pumpkin... but that doesn't matter now. I survived middle school. I attend a great hight school where young women are celebrated and encouraged. I'm more confident now, but I often wonder what causes hatred of tamboys.

Voila c'était le texte mintenant j'attend vos réponses ainsi que vos explications avec impatience. Merci

Les réponses, c'est vous qui allez nous les donner, nous ne faisons jamais les devoirs à la place des membres sur ce site.

Bonjour,

Je ne vais pas te mâcher le travail mais te donner des indices pour les trouver toi-même, ce qui est plus constructif.

Rappel :
La voix passive se forme de l'auxiliaire Be conjugué + le participe passé du verbe.
Au présent : is/are + V-en
Au prétérit: was/were + V-en
Au present perfect : has/have been + V-en
Au past perfect : had been + V-en
Au futur : will be + V-en
Au conditionnel : would be + V-en
Etc...

Tes verbes à la voix passive se trouvent lignes 2, 4, 6, 8, 13, 22, 24.

A toi de jouer maintenant.

I think if you have just started to learn English passive forms, you should start at a much lower level ...

Here are some passive constructions ...

The company manufactures fences.
Fences are manufactured by the company.

Notice the the subject (The company) and the object (fences) change places.
Also notice that the verb (manufactures) turns into the third form participle ( manufactured) with the "to be" verb.
At the end the preposition "by" is used to identify the subject (by the company)

Here is another ....

The farmer grows apples in his orchard.
Apples are grown by the farmer in his orchard.

Here is more information ...

identify/identifys = is identified (present tense)
grow / grows = is grown (present tense)

If the subject is plural is = are

If the verb is past tense change is/are to was/were

e.g.
Dinosaurs eat people.
People are eaten by dinosaurs.

HOWEVER there are no Dinosaurs, so maybe past tense should be used ...

Dinosaurs ate people.
People were eaten by dinosaurs.

All tenses can be changed to passive.

We are eating sausages. =
Sausages are being eaten by us.

You have entered the incorrect name three times into the system. =
The incorrect name has been incorrectly entered into the system three times by you.

Here is a silly one ....
We were driving down the road when we saw a UFO.
A road was being driven down by us when a UFO was seen by us.

Not a full explanation, but I hope it helps ...

Rob.
