Complete these sentences comparing and contrasting the French and American electoral systems with unlike, like, both, while, contrary to, as, or specific information:
a)Contrary to the French President, the American President is not directly elected by the people.
b)In France, elections always take place on a Sunday, while in the USA they take always place on a Tuesday
c) The American president is elected in one round; while in France, it usually takes two rounds to elect the president.
d)The US president has four-year term (=mandat), while the French president's term recently when from like to five years.
e) Both countries' president are now limited to two terms.
f) In the USA as in France, the President is part of the executive branch
Un grand merci !!!

Bonjour Thomas,
b) while est mal placé. Tu n'auras aucun mal à trouver la solution.
c) Pourquoi le point-virgule devant while ?
d) ... a four-year term...

d) j'ai mal compris la phrase, il fallait mettre "while the French president's term recently when from seven to five years"
