Merci d'avance !

This poster, dating from the second world war, advertise for the army air forces and is aimed at young men.

In this poster we can see a young man and a pretty young girl clinging to his arm. The man is called by "Liberty" wich is represented by a beautiful angel with the United-States flag in one hand and a torch in the other. The angel says to the man "Fly for her liberty and yours". "Fly" is written in red colour, next to the angel, who is a "human" representation of the Statue of Liberty. The young man is still convinced; he is wearing an aviator's uniform, an aviator's hat and aviator's glasses. He wants to enter in the "greatest team in the world ! the U.S. Army Forces "; the famous regiment.
His girl friend may think to their future because she seems thoughtful and dreamy. She is wearing a kaki man jacket (une veste de garçon) and a jean. Wearing one of the clothes of her boy friend is a maner to think of him, to be with him.
Both of them look like happy and serene. They are not worried about war.
This poster shows in one part a young man who want to be a hero, ready to struggle and fight. In other part, a young girl who is thinking to an other future, make of love and tenderness. But we can't avoid thinking that the poster is calling about war, so the young man can die and the dreams of his girl friend would be forgotten.
Beside the couple, there is the AAF acronym written in white on a dark blue background. The couple, the slogan, the Statue of Liberty and the acronym are on a blue background which is shadding of the most clearly to the most darkest. The light blue represents peace and freedom whereas the dark blue represents the war and the fight.

This picture is in fact a poster of recruitment. The U.S. AAF search men for the war and posters are a means of recruiting. To incite their to join the AAF, the army recognize herself as being " The greatest Team in the world". It is a challenge and an honor to be part of it. The incitation is based on the concept of defense of the liberty. It plays on the sensible side of the young man which is ready to defend the freedom of his partner and his. The two lovers seem serene, trustful and convainced that this engagement is justified.

In my opinion, this poster doesn't show the reality of the war but just shows the idealized side which is to defend liberty. The poster could be convincing at the time of the seconde world war but cannot be today.

Bonjour, voici les erreurs à corriger, et ne t'inquiète pas, je vais te dire ce qui ne va pas!
This poster, dating from the second world war, advertise for the army air forces and is aimed (conjugue AIM au présent simple) at young men.

In this poster we can see a young man and a pretty young girl clinging to his arm. The man is called by "Liberty" wich (orthographe) is represented by a beautiful angel with the United-States flag in one hand and a torch in the other.
His girl friend may think to (pas la bonne préposition) their future because she seems thoughtful and dreamy. She is wearing a khaki man jacket (une veste de garçon) and a jean (un jean = jeans). Wearing one of the clothes of her boy friend (fais 1 cas possessif)is a maner to think of him, to be with him.
Both of them look like happy and serene. They are not worried about war.
This poster shows in one part (on the one hand)a young man who want (conjugaison) to be a hero, ready to struggle and fight. In other part (on the other hand), a young girl who is thinking to an other future, make (made) of love and tenderness.

To incite their to join the AAF, the army recognize (conjugaison) herself as being " The greatest Team in the world".

The poster could be convincing at the time of the seconde world war but cannot be (not) today.

Eh bien,tu te sous-estimes: c'est pas mal!
