Tom and Sue correction

Tom was a translator in Geneva and his friend, Sue, has just finished her medical training. They have opened a French restaurant in Lyon; a strange and unusual idea. ( Tout commença le jour où) they invited some friends to dinner and for them, Sue and Tom cooked a meat loaf and their taste bulds were delighted. Indeed it was so delicious that friends proposed them to open a restaurant and it wasn't a joke. But openning a restaurant is a challenge : they have to find a strategic place, to borrow money from a bank etc.. and the harder, as said Tom, " the nightmare" is all the documents you have to prepare and bureaucracy. Furthermore, at the beginnig, they had to face some problems like the Chamber of Commerce for the papers and after, persuade bankers: they were exhausted nearly gave up. But bank agrred with their project so they could begin the rebuilging of their future restaurant. They called it " Mister Higgings" for three reasons. Firstly, it's their name. In addition, it sounds english and it's easy to pronounce for the French, because everybody knows thath French aren't good at languages. During the re-building of the place,passers-by were fascinated and thought it was unbelievable to have an English restaurant in Lyon, gastonomic town of France. To celebrate the opening of their restaurant, tom and his wife organised a housewarming party and invited British friends, the workmen who had re-built the place and even pedestrians in the street. The day after, their culinary adventure will begin.

Bonjour, voici les erreurs à corriger:
Tom was a translator in Geneva and his friend, Sue, has (concordance des temps: past perfect)just finished her medical training. They have opened a French restaurant in Lyon; it was a strange and unusual idea. ( Tout commença le jour où) (essaie 1 traduction) they invited some friends to dinner and for them, Sue and Tom cooked a meat loaf and their taste bulds were delighted. Indeed it was so delicious that (mettre 1 possessif) friends proposed them to open a restaurant and it wasn't a joke. But openning a restaurant is (temps) a challenge : they have to find a strategic place, to borrow money from a bank etc.. and the harder (revois le superlatif), as said Tom, (inverser les mots) " the nightmare" is all the documents you have to prepare and bureaucracy. Furthermore, at the beginnig, they had to face some problems like the Chamber of Commerce for the papers and after, persuade bankers: they were exhausted and nearly gave up. But the bank agrred (faute de frappe?) with their project so they could begin the rebuilging of their future restaurant. They called it " Mister Higgings" for three reasons. Firstly, it's their name. In addition, it sounds english (majuscule) and it's easy to pronounce for the French, because everybody knows thath French aren't good at languages. During the re-building of the place,passers-by were fascinated and thought it was unbelievable to have an English restaurant in Lyon, a gastonomic town of France. To celebrate the opening of their restaurant, tom and his wife organised a housewarming party and invited some British friends, the workmen who had re-built the place and even pedestrians in the street. The day after, their culinary adventure will begin.

Attention au temps et à la concordance des temps dans un récit au passé!
