Hello

'The noise from the working site' woke me up very early.
What did you wake you up very early?

Scott

Bonsoir,

1) "The noise from the working" site woke me up very early.
What you wake up very early?

2) Their latest model costs "25.00" .
How much does their latest model cost? correct.

3)You have to water the plants "once a week".
How often have you to water the plants?
quand have n'est pas suivi de got, c'est un verbe ordinaire qui se conjugue avec l'auxiliaire do: Do you have a car ? Do you have to drive?

4) Our neighbour's got "five" young childen.
How many ....has your neighbour get young children?
How many, comme whose, est immédiatement suivi du mot sur lequel il porte.

5) "John" intends to emigrate to australia.
Who intends to emigrate to Australia ? correct (majuscule au pays)

6) That dog's been barking for "ten minutes".
How long has that dog been barking ? correct

7) I'd like to see "the wireless" model, please.
What model would you like to see ?correct
on pourrait utiliser "which model" qui renforce l'idée de choix.

8) The new hospital was opened by "the Queen".
who was the new hospital opened by? correct

9) You might be surprised "after the painting is over".
When might you be surprised ? correct

12)The results must be checked "before publishing them".
When must be the results check? incorrect, revoir l'ordre des mots et la forme de check.

13) Computers process data "rapidly".
What do computers process ? la réponse serait "data"

14) This sports car weights about "700 kilos".
How much does this sports car weights ?
weight: nom to weigh: verbe , sinon, la phrase est correcte.

15) The earth turns on its axis "once every 24 hours".
How often does the earth turn on its axis?

16) A cube's got "12" edges.
How many ....did a cube get? incorrect
a) How many est suivi du mot sur lequel il porte: combien de côtés...
b) A cube has got 12 edges:has est suivi de got, c'est l'auxiliaire du present perfect, il s'inverse donc en forme interrogative: Has he got a sister ?

17) "The manager" plans to modernise the store.
Who plans to modernise the store ? correct

18) They chose to deal with "the intoxicated" person first.
What do they chose to deal with person first?
c) Que va-t-on faire du "with"?
