Hello,
I'm trying to write some sentences following the grammar rules that I've just learnt.
Could you please tell me if any of them are wrong ?
Look forward + .ing
" I look forward to talking with the janitor whether it's possible to open the stadium in spite of the inclement weather. "
Continue + .ing
" Do you continue studying or are you going to relinquish the school barely after being graduate ? "
Get used to + .ing
" I get used to repairing faulty pipings in some luxury lodgings. "
Insist that + subj.
" I insist that he be aware about the likely weather changes, it could take a turn for the worse. "

a phrase, c'est une expression.
a sentence, c'est une phrase.
Look forward to + .ing
" I look forward to talking with the janitor whether it's possible to open the stadium in spite of the inclement weather. " le verbe est bien utilisé mais on ne cause pas au concierge s'il est possible de, on lui demande si....on lui parle pour savoir si... inclement weather sonne bien français. rough weather, nasty weather, bad weather....
Continue + .ing , bizarre, je dirais go on/keep on studying . continue accepte l'infinitif et l'ing et je trouve l'usage maladroit

D'après le dictionnaire en ligne (double click sur le mot) piping, mot collectif, c'est plutôt la plomberie, l'ensemble des canalisations. On dirait pipes pour les tuyaux.

Toutes les canalisations de notre cuisine longent ce mur.
Insist that + subj.

dictionnaire:
aware of [sth] adj (conscious: of [sth]) conscient de, vigilant de adj + prép
Drivers must be aware of the other cars on the road.
Au volant, il faut être conscient de (or: vigilant de) ce que font les autres voitures.
Je trouve que I insist that réclame plutôt un verbe d'action comme pay attention to, take into account, qu'un verbe d'état d'esprit comme be aware of.
