Hello dears,

Another easy exercice that everyone can do! Let's write together...

Comme l'Expression libre est la compétence la plus difficile à bien acquérir dans l'apprentissage d'une langue, il nous faut nous y entraîner, même si c'est notre langue maternelle, d'ailleurs...

Certains m'avaient dit être gênés d'exprimer des idées personnelles ( - ils avaient l'impression - souvent fausse - de les exprimer maladroitement ) Vous savez que je ne vous demande pas de " raconter votre vie " si vous ne le désirez pas... Je souhaite juste vous voir vous exprimer sur tout sujet aussi " librement " que possible.
De plus, je pense que vous aurez maintenant compris que pour moi, toute expression, même maladroite, est intéressante et a de la valeur. Elle nous stimule tous à " trouver mieux " !

Voici les questions auxquelles vous pourrez répondre :

1) What makes you proud?

2) What memory of your childhood is still making you smile or laugh?

3) Who are you when nobody is looking at you?

Vous pouvez répondre à 1 ou 2 questions au choix ? en mpen notant bien les références - et développer celle(s) que vous voulez, jusqu'à atteindre en tout un maximum d'environ 150 mots.

Envoyez-moi vos réponses en mp et je publierai une première série que vous 'corrigerez' (en bleu d'abord pendant deux jours) puis en vert. Une fois le premier texte 'corrigé' au mieux, je publierai ensuite la deuxième série... (sans changements donc ! ) Vous gagnez de la liberté (celle de ne pas parler de plusieurs sujets, ceux qui ne vous " inspirent pas "... Vous écrivez la longueur que vous voulez, vous pouvez choisir d'inventer, de plaisanter, ou de répondre avec sérieux... Nous vous suivrons !

Cet exercice sera pour vous un ou en fonction de la qualité de vos écrits et des difficultés (surmontées) dans la prestation...

What memory of your childhood is still making you smile or laugh

At that time, we were four kids between 6 and 9 years old, always ready to get into a bit of mischief. There were my sister, two friends and myself. That day, we had found a wallet in the street: it was empty, in good condition but dirty. We cleaned the wallet, then we had the crazy idea to fill it with a piece of dog mess. Next, we decided to lay that thing on our neighbour's doorstep. In the end, we hid behind the fence in the alfalfa field, waiting for the neighbour to open her door and find the wallet. When the woman came out and saw the object, she looked to the right and left, then picked it up and quickly closed the door. We were dead of laughter, imagining her surprise when she discovered the content of the item.
In the evening, however, we no longer laughed, because we were not clever enough: the neighbour had seen us and heard us laughing, therefore she went to tell our father everything and of course we were punished, but we didn't care because we had had some fun.
Nowadays, we still laugh about this prank when we recall it, how silly it was. Still with a bit of shame because it was really disgusting and mean.

Here are my suggestions

a lot, dear Happynutmeg, for indicating the mistakes you spotted.

Please, everybody, you'll have to be quicker, as I have a long waiting list for these questions. I suggest we shorten the time for each production so as to have enough time to review them all.

Suggestions (in green) will be allowed as early as tonight for the students who have already indicated possible mistakes. If you haven't 'indicated' mistakes (blue) please start with these necessary indications first and give your suggestions (green) afterwards.
