Hello dears,
Another easy exercice that everyone can do! Let's write together...
1) What is your favourite series?
2) What does the word 'HOLIDAY' mean to you?
3) Do you believe in 'love at first sight"?
Go for it! with THE FORCE.

Hello!

Here is our first answer! I hope everyone is fine!
ANSWER A: TOPIC 3 : please indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I don't really believe in a deep and true love for life at first glance, I think you need to get to know each other a bit for that.
On the other hand, I believe in physical attraction over a simple glance, an irresistible emotion that you feel in an instant, like a magnet that leads you to another person in an uncontrollable way. It's like a fire that beats you and you can't escape from it without a strong self-control.
However, sometimes by chance, we meet a person and we feel so comfortable and confident with them that we have the impression of having already lived with them in an earlier life. But this does not necessarily end in lasting love. Sometimes, you fall in love at first sight, but it's only a flash in the pan.
Nevertheless, I know some people believe in love at first sight and it is existing for them.
for your help !

On the other hand, I believe in physical attraction over a simple glance (meaning?), an irresistible emotion that you feel in an instant, like a magnet that leads you to another person in an uncontrollable way.
Nevertheless, I know some people believe (ambiguous?) in love at first sight and it is existing for them.

It's a wonder and a great pleasure to see that there's always one of you ready to take me out of my predicament...
a mot!

Topic 2: 'What does the word 'holiday' mean to you?'
please indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.
A few years ago, as I was still working, I would have answered : 'holiday' mean slowing down, forgetting about deadlines, having time for myself and for my family. But now, since I have retired, all this is nothing but my everyday life... So, does the word 'holiday' still make sense? Yes it does, for I feel sometimes that I need something different... And maybe I'd call this need a need for holidays: going somewhere else, where I could get away from the daily grind. Then, 'momentarily and voluntarily breaking the routine' could be my personal way of seeing 'holiday'; this, for me at least, requires changing my living environment, which is undoubtedly the biggest difference from before: in the past, I was truly able to feel on holiday at home, which now seems impossible... The truth is, I couldn't feel on holiday without going on holiday, and that makes things a little more complicated...
for you help !

Hello,

Finally, I've been uneasy all along the text reading: '...sight and it is existing for them; here, the present continuous implies a transient feeling, something we catch in an instant, and goes its way; it seems to me that this is in contradiction with that final, total (and ideal) form of love, lasting for ever, or forever, and which, therefore is permanent, thus deserving the simple present; don't you agree?
This topic is awaiting your final suggestions on these different points. So is ANSWER B. Let's give them a thought!

A few years ago, as I was still working, I would have answered : 'holiday' mean meanS slowing down, forgetting about deadlines, having time for myself and for my family. But now, since I have retired, all this is** nothing but my everyday life... So, does the word 'holiday' still make sense? Yes it does, for I feel sometimes that I need something different... And maybe I'd call this need a 'need for holidays': going somewhere else, where I could get away from the daily grind. Then, 'momentarily and voluntarily breaking the routine' could be my personal way of seeing 'holiday'; this, for me at least, requires changing my living environment, which is undoubtedly the biggest difference from before: in the past, I was truly able to feel on holiday at home, which now seems impossible...
