Hello dears,

Comme l'Expression libre est la compétence la plus difficile à bien acquérir dans l'apprentissage d'une langue, il nous faut nous y entraîner, même si c'est notre langue maternelle, d'ailleurs...
Another easy exercice that everyone can do! Let's write together...

1) "Too little, too late!" Imagine a context to justify this statement.

2) You shouldn't teach 'trust' in our present society. Do you agree?

3) Is not speaking a foreign language a handicap nowadays?

Go for it! with THE FORCE.

Hello dears,

Here is our first ANSWER!

ANSWER A: Topic2: You shouldn't teach "trust" in our present Society. Do you agree? Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.

Nowadays, facing the increase of intolerance and all kinds of offences, everything and everyone leads us to mistrust.
So should we stop teaching about trust, then what about trust?
Trust has many faces:
-Trust in oneself or in others, inspire confidence.
-To have confidence, to trust, to keep confidence, to lose confidence.
-Teaching confidence means making people understand discernment: Why and how to trust? Analysing blind trust and trust with restrictions and precautions.
Can we give back our trust to someone who has betrayed us or who has a reputation for incompetence or dishonesty?
In my opinion, teaching "trust" is more useful than ever. Adding the teaching of the acceptance of disappointment in case of error of judgment. Knowing the risks, knowing how to protect them are also part of this teaching.
As far as I am concerned, a society without trust relationships is not human. Living in mistrust and permanent fear is not sustainable.

for your help!

Hello!

Nowadays, facing the increase of intolerance and all kinds of offences, everything and everyone leads us lead us to mistrust.
So should we stop teaching about trust.? (delete full stop)*
Trust has many faces:
-To have trust in oneself or in others and to inspire confidence.
-To have confidence, to trust, to keep confidence, to lose confidence.
-Teaching confidence means making people understand discernment; (the teacher explains how to trust, he helps us (to) (not wrong, but may be omitted) analyse blind trust and trust with restrictions and precautions.
Can we give back our trust to someone who has betrayed us or who has a reputation for incompetence or dishonesty? ("Back" does not fit the second part of the sentence; I suggest: Can we give our trust to someone who has a reputation for incompetence or dishonesty,or restore it to someone who has betrayed us?)
In my opinion, teaching "trust" is more useful than ever. (In addition, we have to learn the acceptance of disappointment in case of error of judgment. Knowing the risks, knowing how to protect us ourselves/oneself from them (from them are also part of this teaching.

As far as I am concerned, a society without trust relationships trust-based relationships? or trusting relationships ("trust relationships" does exist but is mostly used in some legal contexts) is not humane. Living in mistrust and permanent fear is not sustainable.

* Concerning the original sentence (So should we stop teaching about trust, then what about trust?), could the meaning be: "If we stopped teaching trust, what would it become?"

Hello dears,

Merci pour vos suggestions!

Here is our ANSWER B:

1) "Too little, too late!" Imagine a context to justify this statement. Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.

This is what our poor planet could say about us... I can hear it: 'You guys took advantage of me, and the truth is, a lot of you seem never to think of the damage you caused on animals, on trees, on our beautiful seas... Sometimes I wonder if you're not just spoiled and selfish children, careless of the consequences of your actions. Seriously, do you really need all these things that require so much raw materials and other precious resources? Will you at last listen to my regular warnings - heatwaves, floods, and what with earthquakes... Of course the most sensible among you have become aware of my getting sicker and sicker, and they have sounded the alarm for a long time... Believe me, it lifts my spirits and I'm very grateful for what they do! But I'm afraid that it will be too little, and too late...'

for your help!

Sometimes I wonder if you're not just spoiled spoilt* and selfish children, careless of the consequences of your their(agreement with "children" rather than with "you") actions. Seriously, do you really need all these things that require so much many** raw materials and other precious resources? Will you at last listen to my regular warnings:? - (punctuation?) heatwaves, floods, and what with and others ***not to mention earthquakes...? Of course the most sensible among you have become aware of my getting sicker and sicker, and they have sounded (doesn't the expression exist?) it does, but "have been sounding" seems better the alarm for a long time... Believe me, it lifts my spirits and I'm very grateful for what they do are doing?! But I'm afraid that it will be too little, and too late...'

* "Spoiled" is not wrong, but the usual spelling in is spoilt.
*or: so much raw material? Yes, but what about "precious resources"?
*** It should be "other". But I don't know whether it's possible to use "and other something" with the meaning "etc."
